A little teaser of what is to come….
Rabia Khedr is a consultant with diversityworX and a dynamic speaker. Part of the mission of diversityworX is “To promote diversity in the workplace and in the community by offering presentations and training that generate effective strategies for cultural sensitivity, addressing racism, promoting gender equity…and diability related accessibility.” Rabia is an amazing and engaging speaker, well experienced and well rounded. She specializes in the areas of Participatory Researcch, Diversity and Disabiliy Awareness with twelve years of grass-roots experience.
Kathie Snow is well known on the speaking circuit. Her website is www.disabilityisnatural.com “Kathie is enthusiastic, positve and passionate about ensuring children and adults with disabilities live real lives, fully included in their homes, schools, workplaces and commmunities.” Some words, which have been used to describe Kathie’s presentations include, unique, inspiring, motivational, valuable, provocative, and life-changing. We are pleased to be able to offer her as our keynote address on Wednesday evening as well as a full day workshop option to our delegates.
We are also pleased to offer Dr. St. Pierre as a workshop facilitator once again. Dr. St. Pierre is from CPRI in London and last year spoke on the topic of Selective Mutism. We found him to be an excellent and engaging speaker.
The Reource Fair wil be open on Thursday April 16. Delegates will have the opportunity th peruse the Fair at lunch and following the Thursday afternoon workshops.
